Wandering Serenader...

It seems our favorite frontman had a rather musical Labor Day Weekend in the Hamptons. He sang his way around Friday night from the Blue Parrot to Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett.
Jon Bon Jovi was a regular roving serenader on Friday, September 4th. The 47-year-old rocker once again took the guitar off the wall at his super-hyped eatery, The Blue Parrot, and performed a few numbers for diners. After his impromptu jam at The Blue Parrot, the rocker hit up Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett where he hopped up on stage with his good friend, and fellow Jersey native, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes. It's not the first time the Bon Jovi frontman has surprised the crowd at the Talkhouse - he's known for making a notable appearance whenever Southside Johnny is in town. Talkhouse's Peter Honerkamp tells BlogHamptons that Jovi performed a total of three songs, one of which was "Hanging Out With My Baby."
On Saturday night, Jon and his wife Dorothea hosted a private Labor Day party at their East Hampton home. But guests looking for a repeat of his legendary 2007 holiday bash were in for a much more low-key experience. Unlike the party that made international headlines, where Paul McCartney, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, Jimmy Buffett and Pink Floyd's Roger Waters formed a supergroup and performed classics like I Saw Her Standing There and Long Tall Sally, this intimate backyard fĂȘte was downright quiet in comparison and was over shortly after at 11pm.
I need to win the lottery so I can summer in the Hamptons and party like a rock star dammit!

I had SERIOUSLY considered going out there for the SSJ show ... but literally had no way to get home. The trains stop running - and forget it ... a hotel room in the Hamptons on Labor Day Weekend - that wasn't going to happen! LOL
All I can hope is that "somebody" shows up at the SSJ show in NYC tomorrow ... last time it was Little Steven (which was waaay cool!)
