Bon Jovi rocked 55,000 fans in Lima, Peru
Completely dressed in black, Jon Bon Jovi showed up on stage at 9pm, carrying his guitar, greeting the Peruvian audience, who had been waiting for this concert since 21 years ago, when the band canceled a concert in Lima.
The night started with a new song, "Blood on Blood," from their latest production "The Circle," and the setlist continued with "We Weren"t Born to Follow," and the popular "You give love a bad name" that turned on the audience's enthusiasm.
Amazingly, Jon Bon Jovi seemed to keep the same energy on stage as 20 years ago, smiling all the time and offering an unforgettable performance that delighted the fans.
The concert lasted for more than two hours and of course included smash hits like "Born to be my baby,” "Wanted dead or alive,” "Runaway," and "Bad Medicine."
Jon Bon Jovi did not miss the chance to “pay homage to Peruvian girls” dedicating them the Roy Orbison's classic song "Pretty Woman."
The setlist continued with "It"s my life", "I"ll be there for you" and "Always," song that closed the night.

MEMPHIS Visits the CBS's 'The Early Show,' 10/2
Critically acclaimed MEMPHIS won four 2010 Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Original Score (David Bryan and Joe DiPietro), Best Book (Joe DiPietro), and Best Orchestrations (David Bryan and Daryl Waters).
MEMPHIS won four Drama Desk Awards including Outstanding Musical, Outstanding Performance by an Actress (Montego Glover), Outstanding Music (David Bryan) and Outstanding Orchestration (David Bryan and Daryl Waters). MEMPHIS has also won four Outer Critic Circle Awards including Outstanding Musical, Outstanding Score (David Bryan & Joe DiPietro), Outstanding Actress (Montego Glover) and Outstanding Choreography (Sergio Trujillo).
MEMPHIS features a Tony-winning score with music by Bon Jovi's founding member/keyboardist David Bryan and lyrics by Bryan and Tony-winner Joe DiPietro (I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change), who also pens the musical's book. MEMPHIS is based on a concept by the late George W. George (producer of the Tony nominated Bedroom Farce and the film My Dinner With Andre), with direction by Tony nominee Christopher Ashley (Xanadu) and choreography by Sergio Trujillo (Jersey Boys).
MEMPHIS takes place in the smoky halls and underground clubs of the segregated 50's, a young white DJ named Huey Calhoun (Chad Kimball) fell in love with everything he shouldn't: rock and roll and an electrifying black singer (Montego Glover). MEMPHIS is an original story about the cultural revolution that erupted when his vision met her voice, and the music changed forever.

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame... Finally!

Yes, Bon Jovi has been nominated!!
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Nominees Announced
These are the first nominations for Bon Jovi, Donovan, Alice Cooper, Dr. John and Mr. Diamond; some of the others, including Chic, Donna Summer and Darlene Love, have been nominated numerous times but never made the final cut. (There’s hope for them, though: this year the Stooges finally made it in after having been nominated seven times.)
The inductees will be announced in December, and the 26th annual induction ceremony will be held on March 14 at the Waldorf-Astoria in Manhattan. Artists become eligible for nomination 25 years after the release of their first single or album, and the awards are voted on by more than 500 music professionals.
A notable omission among this year’s nominations: Kiss. Last year its fans got their hopes up when, after years of being snubbed, their heroes finally got a nod. (Those hopes were dashed when Kiss lost out to Abba.) For the Rock Hall, that might be a risk: four years ago hundreds of members of the Kiss Army – a k a fans – protested at the Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, with slogans like “Thou Shalt Not Delay the Induction of Kiss” and, perhaps most frighteningly, Kiss costumes.

Peru: Bon Jovi Fans camp outside the venue waiting for the concert
Almost two days before the concert date, the Peruvian fans are already camping outside the venue: more than 15 tents have been set at the doors of the University of San Marcos Stadium, where the famous US band Bon Jovi will perform on Sept. 29.
Two groups are waiting, according to El Comercio; the Fan Club at the Peruvian Web and another group that comprises fans from Peru, US, Ecuador, Argentina and Colombia, that had planned to be among the first ones to enter the venue.
Most of them have been there since Sunday, Sept. 26, and have witnessed the arrival of 14 trucks carrying the stage and all the equipment necessary for the concert that Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, Tico Torres and David Bryan will perform.
