It's on: Richie Sambora 'happy' with Denise Richards

"Things are good," Richie Sambora told USA TODAY when asked about Denise Richards on the red carpet of Alicia Keys' 8th Annual Keep a Child Alive Black Ball last night in New York City. "I'm happy."
And this is one rocker who doesn't get his feathers ruffled over all the interest in his love life.
"It's been happening to me since the late '80s when I was with Cher," said a cool-as-a-cucumber Sambora. "People have seen my baby pictures in the media, you know what I've mean? I've grown up in the press in a lot of different ways. And for the most part, knock on wood, they've been very nice to me."
With Thanksgiving just around the corner (when did that happen?), Sambora says he's excited for "all that turkey stuff." But, "I'm not very particular about it. I've spent a lot of Thanksgivings on the road with my band, so anytime that I can spend Thanksgiving with my family in a traditional aspect, eating sweet potatoes and cranberries and stuffing and all the trappings of Thanksgiving and then get on a treadmill the next day extra long, I'm happy."
