Today is Fat Tuesday, the day before Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent, the 40 days prior to Easter. This means it is Mardi Gras in New Orleans. For all of you celebrating today, Bring on the Beer and the Beads!

As for me, I and my box of tissues (damn head cold) will be watching Little Man play basketball tonight. Someone have a beer and flash their boobs for me... LOL

Fiction Mistress did a great job of bringing the excitement of Mardi Gras to Honolulu. We all had beads - and lots of them - and she even threw a New Orleans Saints Superbowl t-shirt up on stage for Jon. It was a fun time! :-)
