Dec. 16, The Mark and Brian Christmas Show.
Headlining the event are Heart, Foreigner and Richie Sambora. The Mark and Brian All-Star Band to be assembled for the gig is now said to include Slash and Bonham with Keith Emerson, Steve Lukather, Marc Bonilla and a "still yet to be named lead singer." Also appearing are William Shatner, Luke Perry, comedian Greg Behrendt and Matt Nathanson. To purchase tickets, try on Ticketmaster or see the KLOS Web site for contests and further details.
So, the comic of the day has become the Friday Funnies... I like the sound of that better. Here's your Calvin & Hobbes for this Friday, December 4. This one seemed appropriate in light of what is going on in the world right now.
Collected these from WireImage.
He looked damn good yesterday, even with the furrowed brow.
XEROX IS DOING SOMETHING COOL AGAIN THIS YEAR!
If you go to this web site, Lets Say Thanks, you can pick out a Thank You card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to military personnel currently serving overseas.
You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to a member of the armed services. How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!!
It is FREE and it only takes a few seconds.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if these patriots received a bunch of these? Whether you are for or against the war, our military needs to know we are behind them especially as the holidays near and they are so far away from home.
Please take the time and pass it on for others to do. We can never say enough Thank You's.
I thank you for taking the time to support our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Guardsmen!
I already sent mine. Will you send one too?
Our boys were nominated for a Grammy!!

Black Eyed Peas – “I Gotta Feeling”
Bon Jovi – “We Weren’t Born to Follow”

Ah, if only it were that easy Calvin...
Calvin & Hobbes used to be my favorite comic, second only to Peanuts. I have collected strips and pictures over time and every now and then you'll find one here. We'll call it the Comic of the Day. How does that sound?
Enjoy!
My least favorite day of the week. I wholeheartedly believe that Monday should be part of the weekend. Anyone else think so?
Maybe this will brighten up a gloomy Monday for you.
